DIDA is a digital platform that connects drivers and passengers who need a ride, DIDA does not provide transport services. Other services include meals, groceries, and logistics services in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Transport services are provided by drivers under a contract for the carriage of passengers. Drivers provide transport services on an independent basis. Data regarding the drivers and their transport service is available in the DIDA app and receipts for journeys are sent to the email address listed in passenger’s profile.
1.Sign up:
Mobile Number: Ability to sign up via mobile number where customer will enter his/her valid mobile number in proper number format. Users will receive OTP for mobile number verification and Account Activation.
B. Facebook: Ability to sign up via Facebook account.
2. Account verification: In case of sign up with a mobile number, an OTP will be sent along with the resend OTP
a. In case of sign up with Facebook, a confirmation will be asked from the customer by Facebook to allow them to fetch the Name, Phone Number and Profile.
3. Account activation: Once the customer enters the OTP, the account is activated. The customer is asked to enter the Name and Email address. On adding the Email Address, a confirmation email will be sent and the moment the customer clicks on verify, the account will be verified, and the customer can receive invoice emails of the services from the

Mobile number: Ability to login with mobile number and OTP. System will check if mobile number exists in the system. If the account exists, then the customer will log into the application. Otherwise, the customer will be asked to sign up.
b. Facebook: Ability to login with Facebook and Facebook API will be invoked.
1. Ability to enter pickup and drop off location manually or by dropping a pin on Drop off location to be reflected on the driver’s application. Customer can add favorite locations and can mark them as pickup locations.
2. Ability to view fare estimate (fare to be calculated based on the parameters set for by the service owner).
3. Ability to view the additional surge pricing, if applicable.
4. Ability to view the ETA (estimated time of arrival) for the nearest driver.
5. Ability to place instant requests. Ability to view actual fare at the end of the ride (cost to be calculated based on the parameters set by the service owner).
6. Scheduled Rides: Ability for the customer to schedule a ride in advance for a later date and time.
7. Tip- Ability for the customer to pay additional tip to the driver:
a. Tip can be paid to the driver in an ongoing ride or once the ride has been completed. In case the customer chooses to add a tip in an ongoing ride, the tip amount will be charged at the end of the ride along with the trip amount and the same will be added in the invoice email.
b. In case the customer chooses to add a tip post ride completion, the tip amount will be separately charged but it will not be included in the invoice email.
1. Ability for customer to apply any promotional offer at the time of making the ride request. Offers will be based on either absolute discount or the percentage discount and will be applicable on first ride request. Offers will be received by the customer as push notification or email from the service owner.
2. Ability for customer to share referral code which will be unique to each customer and available one-time discount or monetary benefit upon use of referral code by other customer.
1. Request will go to the drivers based on location and availability. We send request to max. 12 drivers(fixed) in 5km radius (radius is configurable). When request comes at first the request is sent to all drivers in 300 m (fixed), then after 13 seconds (fixed) to the next batch of driver in 300m and the process continues. The first one to accept will be assigned ride. This is based on aerial distance. If a client provides google distance matrix keys same can be done via distances via google or ETAs. The logic works well in multiple geographies. For any custom logic charges are extra.

1. Profile:
a. View Profile: Ability to view the profile. Profile parameters: Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Saved Addresses and Emergency Contacts.
b. Edit Profile: Ability to edit the profile. All the parameters mentioned above can be edited in case of editing email or phone number, email verification or OTP verification will be done.
2. Payment Information: Ability to add or delete a payment card (CC or DC). Maximum1 card can be associated with a profile at a time.
3. In app support feature: Ability to chat with the support executives.
4. Services:
a. Ability to view the ongoing ride with booking ID, date of ride, status (completed/cancelled), driver name who served in card view. On clicking the card, additional details of the rating given, pickup and drop off location, driver profile pic, detail of ride will be displayed.
b. Ability to cancel the ongoing ride. Customer can view the cancellation policy before cancelling the request.
c. Ability to view the past rides with booking ID, date of ride, status (completed/cancelled), driver name who served in card view. On clicking the card, additional details of the rating given, pickup and drop off location, driver profile pic, detail of ride will be displayed.
5. SOS Panic Button: Ability to push the SOS button in case of an emergency. Tracking/Share Ride: Tracking is on a web-based link where current location of user is shown.
6. Saved address: Ability to add addresses and save them. Customer can add, view, and modify addresses saved from this section.
7. Contact Us: Ability to click on support email address and be redirected to ‘Compose Email.
8. Sign Out: Ability to sign out of the application.
1. Having access to the DIDA app does not grant you the right to transfer any rights to the third persons. Unless you a fleet company, if agreed, DIDA can give access to the fleet owner for him/her to share the app with members of its fleet.
